Happy Birthday Leanne!

Today is my youngest daughter’s 10th birthday and her dream was to swim with the Dolphins! Well, her Dad made her wish come true! He arranged for her to have some up close and personal time with “Bimini”! This will become her Science lesson for the day. She will be putting together a lapbook on her experience with the Dolphins. We will be using what she learned at Dolphin Harbor along with her science book, “Exploring Creation with Zoology 2: Swimming Creatures of the Fifth Day” by Apologia! Her sister will be joining her on this project. We have never made a lapbook, so she is really looking forward to working on it today. We will be looking for examples on “how to” on other’s blogs. Suggestions anyone?

September Book Swap

I participate in a monthly book swap hosted by Deb over at DaBookLady’s Book and Bookmark Swap and these were the goodies I received from my swap partner. Two books, “So You Don’t Want to go to Church Anymore” and a Laura Childs’ Scrapbooking mystery novel, a scrapbook with stickers, a delicious mango mandrin bar of soap and a beautiful handmade card! Thanks Kristie, I love everything!
If you would like to join in on this fun swap, head over to Deb’s place and let her know I sent you! You won’t regret it! I can’t wait to see what is in store for October!
